<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FdSwoTXslKs29Bb53VIzf%2Fpartner%20portal%2001.png?alt=media&amp;token=3b221304-9429-498f-bfe2-06575c23422d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Request Store Management

You can request management for a store owned by an existing Fera user. If this user authorizes your request, the store will appear with your existing stores list for your use:

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2Fuj0EjCB1hkcpJ0H19uYL%2Fpartner%20portal%2002.png?alt=media&amp;token=b1db831e-9495-4bba-bea3-53bc0fd9d397" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In this page, you can manage all your apps. It includes mainly the below:

1. Create your app(s)
2. Test installing your app(s) on your stores in Fera
3. Publish your app(s)

# Creating an App

You can create one or more apps in the partner portal. You need to configure mainly the below for your app(s):

* General info
* Setup
* Listing

### General

Under the General tab, you mainly need to fill in the app name, code and description along with other configurations like Testing Instructions:

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FKEmlrwbEN5uX82go7Urj%2Fpartner%20portal%2003.png?alt=media&amp;token=b2a257db-eb63-43a2-8ec3-c24b5a6a1124" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Setup

In this section you'll setup OAuth connection info, if applicable.

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FlCy953NTfW3URkMikhn5%2Fpartner%20portal%2005.png?alt=media&amp;token=22748196-9837-4b55-9709-a63c36709fe3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Listing

You can set the app's website and its other supporting resources:

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FTaKTIDVGty2gH7vGLoYV%2Fpartner%20portal%2006.png?alt=media&amp;token=2037106d-ddfe-48e8-be97-6d9ef4daa548" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Testing App

You can skip having to authenticate an app through the standard OAuth2 flow and skip to generating an `auth_token` for any of your authorized or partner-managed stores by using the "Install" option in the app details screen.&#x20;

Generating an auth token will give you access to the store's [private API](https://developers.fera.ai/reference/authentication-2).

This is how you install your app on your store using its URL:

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FXFLscRHZm96ZhPrOOzo6%2Fpartner%20portal07.png?alt=media&amp;token=0cbcebcb-0bca-49bf-b104-bf76c90676e4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Publishing App

Once you've tested your app, submitted it and got approval from Fera, now you can publish your app.

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FEPtnXeCP8etiLnuKJlmQ%2Fpartner%20portal%2008.png?alt=media&amp;token=a54b85a9-ff37-46df-9323-807c82f36d91" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Managing App

Once you create your app, you can manage it with multiple options like submitting it for approval or installing it on your test store etc..

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FaQwhyHDQyMnlahBJuxp6%2Fpartner%20portal%2009.png?alt=media&amp;token=514f2ba0-45a5-4fba-a3f5-cc876c6fcdfa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# SEO Apps

How to integrate your SEO App with Fera

<figure><img src="https://1246828530-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNVWFhwTurA1YksUJWXq9%2Fuploads%2FTCCuM7g7agitWprc36GZ%2Fshow_reviews_in_search_results.png?alt=media&amp;token=3ba5123a-54ff-43a7-9f6e-64db0a9b89bc" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fera makes it easy for merchants to show ratings in search results, but your app can make it even easier an give them more control.</p></figcaption></figure>

Fera automatically generates SEO markup schema if it is not already present on the site. However, Fera also plays nicely with apps that manage the SEO markup.

{% hint style="success" %}
Fera is most likely already compatible since it automatically "completes" existing SEO schema with rating/review data.
{% endhint %}

At run-time (via JS) Fera detects any existing SEO schema on the site and automatically appends missing review/rating information.

## Shopify SEO Apps

Fera automatically generates SEO markup schema if it is not already present on the site.

{% hint style="info" %}
We recommend you use the [official Shopify Standard Metafields](https://shopify.dev/apps/metafields/definitions/standard) which Fera will automatically sync ratings to.
{% endhint %}

#### How to get product ratings and review counts

There are two methods store product rating counts and average product ratings for Shopify stores using Fera:

1. Read from the [official Shopify Standard Metafields](https://help.fera.ai/en/articles/6342895-shopify-review-metafields) (recommended)
2. Use the [Partners API Product Ratings](/developers/partner-api/retrieve-product-ratings) endpoint

#### How to get product reviews

If you need to grab public review data for any product, use the [Partners API List Reviews](/developers/partner-api/list-reviews) endpoint.

Also see this article in our help center about [using Fera Shopify review metafields](https://help.fera.ai/en/articles/6342895-shopify-review-metafields).

## Non-Shopify SEO Apps

If your app is not on Shopify you can use our [Partners API](/developers/partner-api) to grab product ratings and reviews from any store using only the store's domain.

However, this may not be necessary. Fera will not tamper with existing review/rating schema, however it will automatically append rating/review data to existing product schema if it is missing and available by Fera.

{% hint style="success" %}
Fera will only automatically add rating/review SEO schema if a product/rating widget has been added to the page from Fera.
{% endhint %}

# Partner API

The Partner API allows you to quickly access public store ratings/reviews of Fera accounts.

## Authentication

Use your partner API key which can be found in your [Partner Dashboard](https://partners.fera.ai/dashboard?ref=open_api\&api_type=partners).

This can be included as the `Api-Key` header or `api_key` parameter.

## Specifying The Store

For any parameters that are specific to a store, you must include the `domain` parameter which is the domain of the store.

If you know the store's public API key or fera store ID then those can also be used via the `store_public_key` and `store_id` parameters respectively instead of the `domain` parameters.

## Product, Customer and Order IDs

Whenever the API requests a product, customer or order ID then Fera accepts either:

* The Fera ID (always begins with 'f' like `fpro_123ABC`)
* The external ID (can be anything)
  * This is usually the store's object ID.
  * For example, if it's a Shopify product then this is the Shopify.

{% hint style="success" %}
Fera IDs always start with 'f' and are globally unique. That's why they're interchangeable with external (store) IDs.
{% endhint %}

## Rate Limits

The rate limit for partners is 60 requests per minute (approximately 1 request per second).&#x20;

If you need to make requests more often please let our team know.

## Response and Request Formats

[Please see the Developer API Reference for the private API.](https://developers.fera.ai/reference/api-request-format?ref=partner-docs) This API follows the same structure for responses and requests.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Partner API is different than our store private API. [View our developer docs here](https://developers.fera.ai/docs?ref=partner-docs) for the full API reference.
{% endhint %}

# List Reviews

List reviews of any store by store domain/url.

As a partner you have access to list any reviews that a Fera store is using.&#x20;

Normally this information is available via our public api (Fera.js) but that requires you to know the store's public key.&#x20;

This API returns data in the same format as the public API (Fera.js) but only requires the store domain/url.

## List all Reviews

This list of reviews includes all reviews for all products, plus store (business) reviews that aren't specific to a product.

# Other API Endpoints

There are many more API methods that can be accessed by creating a Fera app.

The Fera Partners API has a limited set of endpoints available to you because it does not require prior authorization from each Fera merchant to use.

The Fera Partners API gives you easy access to public data, but much more can be accessed via the [store Private API](https://developers.fera.ai/reference/authentication).

To access all API endpoints available then you need to create a [Fera app](/partner-portal/apps) and [authenticate via OAuth](https://developers.fera.ai/docs/partners-app-authentication?ref=partner-docs).&#x20;
